Seriously, it’s my favorite Christmas movie. The story, the special effects, Murray cranking it to 11; all awesome. Plus that big song finale? Every time I hear “Put a Little Love in Your Heart” I think of this movie.

The Dos Lagos Stadium 15 in Corona will be screening “Scrooged” along with three other classic films for the holidays. And you’ll get three chances to see each film. The icing on the holiday cookie? The holiday classic film series is just $3 for each film.

Talk about wide spectrum of spooky films.

The Dos Lagos Stadium 15 theater in Corona has released its list of special film screenings for the month of October. And it spans from black and white classics to modern animated hits.

And it looks like they are starting with one of the scariest films ever made: “The Exorcist.”

The film screens Friday-Sunday, Oct. 5-7. It will be followed by “The Shining” Oct. 12-14, a double feature of “The Mummy” and “The Wolfman” Oct. 19-21 and finally another double feature with “Frankenstein” and “Dracula” Oct. 26-28.

Smart, witty dialogue and lots of violence.

Two things that will appear when you look up director Quentin Tarantino. The Academy Award nominated filmmaker will be the subject of the Dos Lagos Stadium 15′s July film series.

The Corona theater will screen four of Tarantino’s films throughout the month. And it starts right at the beginning with “Reservoir Dogs” Friday-Sunday, July 6-8.

Corona, CA: Take the weekend off with Ferris

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" will be screened at the Dos Lagos Stadium 15 theater in Corona.

Who hasn’t wanted to play hooky from school or work before? And the poster child for that, of course, is Ferris Bueller.

Now children of all ages can relive all the day off glory on the big screen when the Dos Lagos Stadium 15 theater in Corona shows the John Hughes classic “Ferris Bueller's Day Off” throughout the weekend.

Corona, CA: Playwright of 'Tecumseh!' dies

Allan Eckert, the playwright of the outdoor drama "Tecumseh!" that has drawn millions to central Ohio since 1973, has died.

Anthony Stephens, of the Jesse Stuart Foundation that published many of Eckert's works, says the historian and author died Thursday morning at his home in Corona, Calif. He was 80.

The drama about the Shawnee leader, performed annually in Chillicothe, was adapted from Eckert's book "The Frontiersmen."

Scott Silverman's research and expertise extends to the usage of social media as a phenomenon. He is available to discuss why "The Social Network" is so popular. "EVERYBODY knows about Facebook, and is either actively using it, or actively NOT using it," he says. "It is, by far, the most popular social network of its kind, and a dominant force in how people communicate. The fact that so many people flocked to the theaters to see it, and that there is much buzz about the movie, is unsurprising. People want to know the 'true' story behind the creation of a tool that they use on a regular basis."
