“I have eaten at a lot of Indian Restaurants and most of them are usually outdated in decor, slightly unclean, and sometime a little too much grease in the cooking. Regardless we are big fans of Indian Food and stumbled across Spice Route for the lunch buffet. This is very authentic Indian food. The decor was beautiful, elegant, and very clean. They had nice linen table cloths, crystal ware, and he buffet was filled with a great selection of classic cuisine. The staff was very kind, attentive, and pleasant. I like that the waitress asked us if we would like lemon on the side with our water. We accepted & she brought it on the side freshly sliced on a small plate. I tried a little bit of everything on the buffet and there was not one item I did not enjoy. This is the BEST INDIAN and PAKISTANI cuisine I have ever tried. It was not too greasy. The goat curry had no bit of gaminess (which goat can be a challenge to prepare). The garlic naan was perfect. The food was perfectly seasoned with wonderful combination of spices. The ambiance was very relaxed and comfortable. My favorite was the Keema Samosa and naan bread.
At the end of the meal, the owner , Tariq (sp?) came out and introduced himself and asked how our meal went. He was very kind and interested in our opinion. This left a very good impression on us.
I highly recommend this place and I am so excited to have found a wonderfully classy, affordable, and authentic Indian/Pakistani restaurant in my town!
I will recommend this place to EVERYONE, and I will be returning many more times to come.”

“Spice Route just opened on Saturday - in fact, I had to add it on Yelp via my phone. :)
It was very quiet when we came - we were the only ones eating but I relished that because our server was very attentive and sweet - Channel.
Spice Route replaced House of Ribs (r.i.p. - I loved that place too). The new owner completely redecorated the interior. It has a nice touch of elegance -reminds me of eating in Europe because they use stemmed water glasses and linens on the tables. Turns out, the owner, recently moved from Berlin where he owned and operated a successful India/Pakistan restaurant there for 15 years. He stopped by our table and was very personable and we really enjoyed chatting with him.
Now, I know good Indian food because my good friend and her husband make amazing lunch spreads for us - and well, you know how good homemade tastes! So my taste-buds are dialed into the right tasting frequency!
They have a very extensive menu - in fact, I missed two of the pages - sorry. You'll just have to stop in and check it out yourself. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken it was a 1/2 chicken portion and my husband ordered the Chicken Curry. These dishes are served family style and you get rice. We also ordered the garlic naan.
Our server brought over complimentary dipping sauce and a thin deep fried cracker - sorry I don't know what this is called but I snapped a photo for you.
My husband took one bite of the curry chicken and swooned! He swore when he ate the Tandoori chicken - it was so tender! Please note, if you do get more naan, they do charge you $2.50 for 3 pieces - I didn't mind - but thought you should know this. I think their prices are reasonable. You can also do take out - I noticed someone was picking up an order.

i have eaten Desi food all over USA and pretty much all States ( besides where desi food is not available).
I have never had bad serv like this resturant, we waited for 30 min after order was taken. and Before us they had a White Couple , a Indian Family, and Pakistan family with kids and ( total 4 table ) and still no one was getting FOOD,
food was all mixed up, over charged for everything, One Couple left because they charged on Credit Card and said card didnt go through ( i guess they are new and didnt know how to Use Credit Card on system but than they paid for it by Cash, however same Couple came back after 40 min while were still on our table but now eating food they came with Complain that they called card company and card was charge for Double the bill ( it was charged 2 times) i am still thinking while i am eating that they are new so they still learning the system.
now here come the big Question for me, my card didn't work either, and they said somthing is not right card not going through so they asked for Cash and since i had some money on me i paid, but i called the Card company right when i was in the resturant GUESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS what my card was billed 3 times, i hardly even check my bill when i have to pay since i eat out a lot almost every other day, but today i called card company since this other couple had a problem with card issue.
So guess what guys, Eat Eat and Eat all you can Lunch Buffet or Dinner from over charged Menu BUT PAY CASH , because once you leave you can really know what happened and even if you call Card Company they will take off one charge understanding that it was mistake but they wont take off every charge because you did go to eat, and had a meal, and since you also paid cash you not going to get your Cash back either , so bottom line, Over Charged food, then you have to pay twice,,....
Oh did say , that girls are really nice great serv however they wont stop touching you again and again, thinking if you not high tipper now you have to tip anyways, so hey you old guys if you like young girls do go , its a free weekend touch night, but besides that girls on floor they did give great serv, however owner is Really Rude but if you white or anyone else beside PAKISTANI he will come to you and talk to you and will try to give you great serv as long as you not his skin color or darker than him... i just dont know if i want to go back again with Credit Card or with Cash, (((((((((((( Oh owner did come to me and said, i am sorry about this our system is still new for us about credit card we dont know what happened please come again and i will give you 25% off your bill, how about doing it right now .... like i am going to go back again ...
besides those small things guys it was really great place he must be paying high rent so i understand the Card issue ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, BUT when you go Start with GOD BLESS AND LEAVE WITH SAME BLESSING for your self not the owner, who knows what you next Credit card bill might show you :P
