Blood Bank Drive April 10th 2008; Norco, CA

On Wednesday, April 10, 2008, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm we will be bringing our Bloodmobile to the Norco Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 2816 Hamner Ave, Norco, Ca. We are asking that Chamber Members and others from your great community to roll up their sleeves to give the gift of life. With more than 42 hospitals to serve throughout Southern California we must collect more than 400 pints of blood each and every day in order to keep up with the growing demand for blood and blood products. Without the support of donor organizations like your Chamber of Commerce, we could not possibly meet this demand.

That support not only includes blood donations from wonderful people from the communities we serve, it also often includes coupons donated by local retailers, providing an incentive that attracts more people to come and participate. We join the Norco Chamber of Commerce in asking you to consider offering a coupon, such as a pint of ice cream for donating a pint of blood…in essence, “A Pint-For-A-Pint.”

But that is just one example. Our donors often receive coupons for complimentary pizza, submarine sandwiches, ice cream, smoothies, chicken wings, hamburgers, taco meals and more. Instant gratification is a wonderful thing for many people. Although we certainly don’t require them at a blood drive, it has been our experience that more donors participate when coupons are offered. Your donation will be a great show of support for our community donors and an excellent opportunity to advertise your product or business.
