Commuters in the Inland Empire and Orange County are being warned about the one-dollar mile. That's how much it will cost in the coming week, to get into the 91 Freeway express lanes during rush hour. The $10 toll gets you 10 miles of passage and is among the highest in the nation. It will go into effect on Friday afternoons from three to four p.m.
The Orange County Transportation Authority, which owns the express lanes, says the higher price will make sure the lanes are cluttered.
