Corona, CA: Linda M. Piccini

Linda M. Piccini, 58 of Pittsburg died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday April 24, 2012 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

She was born July 7, 1953 at the US Naval Hospital in Corona, CA the daughter of Charles F. (Bud) and Charlene (Nenno) Smith.

Linda moved to the Frontenac/Pittsburg area in 1967 and has lived here since. She was a graduate of Frontenac High School and attended cosmetology school.

She married Philip Piccini on January 27, 1978 in Miami, OK; he survives at the home.

Linda was employed through USD 250 at Lakeside School as a cook; prior to that she worked at the North McDonalds from 1999 until 2010.

Survivors include her husband Philip of the home; 2 daughters Regana Fine and husband James of Cherryvale, Vanessa Ketcham and husband Casey of Pittsburg; a son Bradley Piccini of Olathe; her mother Charlene Smith of Frontenac; a sister Melody Smith-Pugh of Pittsburg a brother Jeff Smith of Lockwood, MO, 7 Grandchildren-Colby Piccini, Tayhler Plain, Kyra Ketcham, Isaac Plain, Lexi Ketcham, Drake Plain and Whitney Fine. She was preceded in death by her father, father-in-law and maternal and paternal grandparents.
