Corona, CA: The Griff Hamlin Band To Play Concert At Fender Museum To Benefit Music Education For Corona Kids

Griff Hamlin, creator of Blues Guitar Unleashed and lead singer/guitarist of the Griff Hamlin Band, has announced a special show, open to the public, to benefit the Kids Rock Free program at the Fender Center in Corona, CA.

Griff Hamlin, blues guitarist and creator of Blues Guitar Unleashed, has announced a special performance at the Fender Center in Corona, CA, on Saturday, March 10. Proceeds from the show go to benefit Fender's Kids Rock Free Program which works to provide free and low cost music lessons to local area kids.

The concert is part of a yearly event that Hamlin hosts called Blues Guitar Unleashed (BGU) Live, a two-day blues guitar workshop for his students. And though the master class and jam sessions are private, Hamlin is performing with his band on Saturday night, March 10, 2012, from 7pm to 9pm Pacific Time at the Fender Center Rhythm Lounge.

Tickets are $15 per person and proceeds benefit the Fender Center program, Kids Rock Free, which supplies free music lessons on vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, and drums to kids.

"This is the most exciting event of my year," Hamlin says. "Not only do I get to bring blues guitar to my students worldwide, my show helps kids receive music education that, without the Kids Rock Free program, they wouldn't have access to."
