Inland Empire families will love the Not So Scary Halloween celebration at The Shops at Dos Lagos. The September and October activites will feature a Halloween costume exchange, Little Pumpkins Baby & Toddler Races, Expectant Parent Baby Shower Games, Eleanor Roosevelt High School Boosters Back to School Carnival, All Breed Rescue Dogtoberfest, Make-A-Wish Halloween Spooktacular, Trader Joe’s pumpkin patch, free family-friendly movies, hayrides, and more. Little Pumpkins Baby and Toddler Races
Registration is open for the Little Pumpkins Baby & Toddler Races that will be held on Saturday, October 8. Registration is FREE! Babies from 6 to 12 months of age will crawl down the padded race course. Toddlers will compete by age categories: 12–18 months; 19–26 months; 27–36 months. All babies and toddlers will receive ribbons, with prizes awarded to each race winner.
Pre-register by September 30 to get a guaranteed race time between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 8. Day of event registrants will be assigned a race time at check-in. The Shops at Dos Lagos invites parents to donate new pajamas when they register. The new pajamas collected from the Little Pumpkins Baby & Toddler Races event will be donated to babies, children and teens served by Operation Sweet Dreams.

Expectant Parents Baby Shower
Four expectant parent couples will be selected to compete in baby shower games for the chance to win more than $1,000 in prizes at the October 8 Little Pumpkin Family Festival. Visit The Shops at Dos Lagos Expectant Parents Baby Shower link on Facebook to upload a two-minute video about why you should be one of the couples to compete. The four couples who receive the most votes for their video from family, friends and other visitors on the Dos Lagos Facebook page will be selected to compete at the 2 p.m. Expectant Parents Baby Shower on October 8.
Deliver Gently Used Halloween Costumes NOW – October 7
Many families purchase Halloween costumes that are only worn once. The Shops at Dos Lagos invites you to recycle your gently used costumes to help preserve the environment and ease your budget by exchanging them for a “new to you” gently used costume.
Bring gently worn Halloween costumes, from baby to adult sizes, on hangers with accessories, to the Dos Lagos Management Office through October 7 to participate in the unique recycling activity. You will receive a certificate for each costume which you can use to select a “new” gently used costume on Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dos Lagos Stadium 15 Theatre. Costumes remaining after 5 p.m. on October 8 will be donated to families served by The Foundation for Community and Family Health.
Everyone who visits the October 8 Halloween Costume Exchange can register for the opportunity to win a new children’s costume created by Fashion Club students at Santiago High School. Each designer from Santiago High School Fashion Club who creates a children’s costume will receive a $100 gift card from The Shops at Dos Lagos for creating an original children’s Halloween costume.
September 30 – October 2 Back to School Carnival
Enjoy three days of non-stop family fun at the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Boosters Back to School Carnival at The Shops at Dos Lagos. The Back to School Carnival will feature vendors, rides, games, amusements, and more to raise money for the high school. The carnival is one of two that The Shops at Dos Lagos hosts each year to help raise funds for Corona Norco schools.
Saturday, October 1 Dogtoberfest
Support All Breed Rescue at the Dogtoberfest near Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill at the Lakeside Garden Retreat at The Shops at Dos Lagos on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature animal costume contests and other fun canine events to promote dog adoptions. All Breed Rescue is a non-profit corporation dedicated to rescuing dogs and finding good homes for them.

Thursday, October 27 Halloween Walk
Enjoy a free, healthy Halloween treat as you complete your Dos Lagos in Motion walk with the City of Corona and The 100 Mile Club. Everyone in the family can participate in the weekly walks which begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays near Ben Bridge Jewelers at The Shops at Dos Lagos.
