Ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Stan Skipworth to celebrate opening

CORONA, CA: The public is invited to join Corona Mayor Stan Skipworth on Tuesday, May 3, at 3 p.m. at The Shops at Dos Lagos for the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Tuesday Farm & Artisan Market. The weekly market will feature California-Certified Farmers of both conventional and organic growing practices, as well gourmet food vendors and artisans. Additional activities to commemorate the opening includes live music by TMK All Starz Band.

The Shops at Dos Lagos is partnering with Farmers’ Market Management Company to host the Tuesday Farm & Artisan Market, which is being sponsored by Trader Joe’s. The market will be open every Tuesday from May 3 – October 25, from 3 - 7 p.m. in the parking lot of The Shops at Dos Lagos at Cabot Drive and Temescal Canyon Road.

“The community has been asking for a farmers and artisan market for years now, so we are thrilled to deliver the market while supporting the local farmers and artists of our community,” said Giovanna Calambrogio, property manager at The Shops at Dos Lagos.

Each week, shoppers will enjoy live music; meet local farmers offering fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers; explore an abundant selection of gourmet food vendors including kettle corn, baked goods, jarred pestos, plus more; and experience unique handmade creations like handblown glass, soy candles, handmade dolls and bears, woodcrafts, and others.
