TEMECULA PRESENTS ANNOUNCES ITS 2008-2009 SEASON AT THE OLD TOWN TEMECULA COMMUNITY THEATER

TEMECULA, CA The Temecula Presents 2008-2009 Season features a lineup of 26 world-class artists and 31 performances, including many artists and companies making their Temecula or West Coast debuts. The 2008-2009 Temecula Presents Season is comprised of four packages: Dance, Friday Night Groove, Classical Music and Big Band / Cabaret Orchestra concerts.

Temecula Presents brings unique and talented artists from all over the world to Temecula’s community stage, thus creating a series of varied artistic expression for audiences to enjoy close to home. These artists are selected to complement the other fine performances presented at the Theater and to broaden the variety of choice for theater-goers.

According to Old Town Temecula Community Theater’s Manager and Temecula Presents curator, Bruce Beers, “Our audiences have come to trust the quality of the performers that Temecula Presents brings to the stage and they discover the great entertainment value so close to home. These artists are the world’s best whether their name is recognizable or not. An adventurous ticket buyer will relish their new ‘find’.”

Temecula Presents is also pleased to continue its partnerships with the Golden Valley Music Society presenting the California Chamber Orchestra and OnStage Musicals presenting the Big Band / Cabaret Orchestra. Temecula Presents has established a tradition presenting quality artists at the Theater and this Season will be no exception.

The Dance is the best America has to offer from a venerable New York company to a fresh and sassy group from Utah. One of the dance world’s greatest artistic companies will debut their West Coast Premiere performance, the Limón Dance Company, celebrating the centennial of their founder, Jose Limón this year. The series continues with San Francisco’s Smuin Ballet, Odyssey Dance Theatre, from Utah, and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet.
