A thank you letter from Jason Scott!

Editors Note: We are only sharing the letter, not endorsing the Candidate!

While I have sent this email to each person I can recall at this particular time, and I hope I have not left anyone out, it is our combined efforts that made last evening's event a resounding success.

The crowd was tremendous and each I had a chance to speak with expressed how wonderful it was to have something different, something good for the entire family as an activity.

The efforts of everyone, the entire team, made this a fantastic event and an evening for everyone, and I'm appreciative of your time, talents and efforts.

After the game, the Breakers told me that Team Jason Scott was the tallest team they had ever played, but they were also one of the best teams. They said our guys played to have a good time. They could tell and so could the audience. They said our team played to please the people that came to watch and to have a good time themselves. Their words about our team could not have been kinder or more appreciative.

Members of Team Jason Scott said it was a wonderful experience and they were glad they participated. Pam West, a sixth grade teacher at Ben Franklin School in Corona said, "I haven't had that much fun in a long time, and I haven't worked as hard either."

Matt VanVoorst, student adviser at CFIS, said, "It was a great game. They pass the ball very well and can hit the three pointers. I had a wonderful time playing in the game."

I was so pleased to hear of a special occurrence following the game. A mom brought her son and several of his friends to the game as a surprise. They watched the game, and I'm told, her son met the Breakers players following. It was a special event for him as he got to meet people like himself, a dwarf, and see the good time they had. I'm further told that his mom and the Breakers spoke about the possibility of her son going to a camp for dwarfs. While I did not witness the meeting, I am warmed by the thought that our event may have touched others in a special way.

I don't know how many Vials for Life were given out, but as a Board member of the Corona Fire Safety Foundation which promotes this program, I'm glad it was possible to distribute them so they will be in homes should their be an emergency where police or fire must respond. The Vials permit family members to record medical and contact information for each person in a home and place it in the plastic vial which goes on a shelf in the refrigerator door. A Vials for Life magnet is place on the outside of the refrigerator door. Thus, if police or firefighters must respond to an emergency, checking the refrigerator for the magnet tells them if the Vial is inside.

I thank each of you receiving this email, and I'm sure I missed a few, for your time, effort, dedication and commitment to this event and/or my campaign. I am grateful and look forward to continuing to do things that benefit our city.

-Jason
