Corona, CA: Sheriff Investigates Suspicious Death at Morongo Casino

On Monday, August 13, 2012, at approximately 8:15 AM, deputies assigned to the Cabazon Station of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa regarding a male being found unresponsive in a parked vehicle.

Upon arrival, deputies found Casino employees and medical staff performing life-saving measures on the male located on the top level of the parking structure. The male victim was later transported to a local hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced deceased. He is described as a 38-year-old Caucasian male from Corona.

This investigation has been assumed by investigators assigned to the Cabazon Station. The identity of the deceased is being withheld, pending next of kin notification. This death investigation is currently active and ongoing.
