The festival is open to US and Foreign films in five categories: Full Length Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Animation and Student Films. To be eligible, a film entry must have been completed in 2009, 2010 or 2011. Entries for all genres of music, from rock to pop, jazz to hip hop, Latin to Folk to World to Country, Reggae to R&B are all considered.

Filmmakers and Musicians participate in the Festival for the opportunity to get maximum exposure for their films or, in the case of musicians, exposure to producers, film/ TV music supervisors, directors, agents, publicists - people who have the ability to help boost their careers in terms of possible film, TV and commercial placement / soundtrack deals.

The festival's social calendar starts with Opening Night Festivities, followed by daily & nightly filmmaker/musician receptions, film and music industry workshops, a spectacular, star studded Black Tie Awards Gala, amazing After Parties and Best of Fest special screening presentations and much more.

Last year’s festival highlights included the showcasing of 22 full length features, 20 documentaries, 103 combined short films, student films, animation and showcases, 20 music artists from 22 countries and over 25 US cities and states.

The Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival is presented by Cinema Entertainment Alliance, a nonprofit arts and education organization dedicated to celebrating world cinema and music.
