Corona, CA: Gold Medal Deals for Six Days Riders

Corona, CA: Billed as "The Olympics Of Off-Road Motorcycling," the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) is the oldest event on the Federation Internationale de Motocyclismes (FIM) competition calendar, dating back to 1913. Set this year for Kotka-Hamina, Finland, the ISDE still represents a true test of rider skill, speed and endurance, not to mention requiring a motorcycle that will make it for six days of continuous competition... Finland should provide the perfect environment for Husqvarna's WR125, WR250 and WR300 2-strokes and TE250, TE310, TE449 and TE511 4-stroke motorcycles!

Scheduled to have more than 500 riders from 32 different countries participating, Husqvarna wants to make it easier to compete in the 86th running of the ISDE by creating a "Gold Medal" rental/purchase/service support program through the official Finnish importer MP-Racing. "Basically Husqvarna will set you up as a factory rider for a week, with a bike, tech support gas and even insurance for the Six Days," explains Derek Sorenson, Husqvarna North America's Product & Racing Manager.

"It was great news when Mandi Mastin won her fourth AMA National Enduro of the season and qualified for her 10th ISDE at the same time," says Sorenson. "We want to make it possible for more Americans to have the opportunity to join her in the 2011 ISDE in Finland."

"This will be the 10th time that I have raced the ISDE," adds Mandi. "I have to say that I'm pretty darn excited for August to get here!" Note that the deadline for renting a factory Husky ride ends May 31, 2011. Click here for all the details http://heroesridehuskys.com/pages/2011ISDEbikeRental.pdf

"Where better to convey our 'Ride More' message than at the Olympics of motorcycling?" asks Husqvarna's National Marketing Manager Corey Eastman. "Congratulations to Mandi Mastin for qualifying for the ISDE for the 10th time and go Team USA!" However you don't have to go to Kotka-Hamina in Finland to get a gold medal deal on a new motorcycle; closer to home, Husqvarna North America is offering 2.99% APR financing for 2011 machines and .99% for 2010 and earlier models, as well as terms up to 60 months, according to Eastman.
