Corona, CA: Onslaught of Home Complaints in SoCal


RIVERSIDE, CA: Monday was not a good day for homebuilders in Southern California. In five complaints in Riverside Superior Court, unhappy homebuyers seek damages for construction defects in 1,993 homes.

A class action against Del Webb California Corp. alleges water intrusion problems in 1,776 homes in the Sun City Palm Desert development in Palm Desert.

A complaint against Lennar Homes of California involves seven homes in San Jacinto.

KB Home Coastal is accused of building eight defective homes in Perris.

Woodbridge Development and others were sued over 24 homes in Corona.

And Lennar Homes of California is accused of building 74 defective homes in Mira Loma and Corona.

Question, are the eight cases filed against KB Home a class action suit, or individual? I have a major problem with my defective KB Home and am interested in class action status, which would allow people from different states to pursue action more affordably. For many people, individual lawsuits are too expensive and they are disenfranchised by the system.
